Miles - 8/17/2020

I fed Miles after he woke up from his morning nap.  He had applesauce, cereal, and Mommy Milk.  For lunch he ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, no tomatoes, and ate cherries.   

I took this first picture as soon as I got Miles up from his morning nap.  Callahan was happy to see him and said, "Hi Mau Mau, Hi Mau Mau!  Of course Svea had to start saying it too with a big grin on her face; "Hi Mau Mau, hi Mau, Mau."  In the second picture Miles is watching what Atley is doing with the cars.  So far he's pretty content to watch and hasn't been trying to grab everything the other kids are playing with.  (That is subject to change without notice!!  Haha.)


Next picture; See I told you it was subject to change!  Haha.  No he was just playing beside Svea and she liked having him there.  It looks like they're working together on a puzzle.  Following picture; Avilene was having fun with Miles on the mattress and you can see he's trying to grab her cap.   Last picture; Miles at the window again.  He was waving at me and it's so cute when he does that!  He got down very carefully and with complete control.  Good work Miles.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
