Miles - 8/19/2020

Miles ate French toast and a sniff of strawberries for breakfast.  Because of the late start to Daycare this morning I forgot about an early morning nap for him.  He was tired and hungry by 10:40 so I fed him some applesauce with cereal and Mommy mllk and he ate a LOT!

Miles is a very typical little crawler and is so inquisitive about everything!?!!  He'll find a little fuzzy on the floor and have to examine it.  Then on to another piece of junk.  Then he'll pass by me and stop and pull one or two hairs on my leg.  Ouch!!  Haha.  

Well this first picture is pretty exciting right!?!  Miles in the legos drawer!  Actually he thought he was "stuck" in there and yelling for some help.  I think that's so funny when they get into a tight spot or climb into a new spot and then think the are trapped for life.  So I waited until he turned his head (so Mommy couldn't see his tears - except I know she can tell from the side view) and took the picture and then rescued him from his dilemma.  :)  


Here are a couple more pictures from this morning.  This is the same toy Miles has played with for two days now.  I'm always fascinated by how the littlest people can have favorites like this.  Last picture: Well it looks like Miles is just laying there snuggling so sweetly!  Haha.  Never believe all that you read OR see! I just happened to catch this perfectly and made it look that way.  He was in that position for .865 seconds.  No I didn't time it, I just know these things.  Like I said, Don't believe everything you read.  :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Miles - 08/24/2022

Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well.
