Miles - 8/20/2020

Miles ate bites of whole wheat English muffin and ate mandarin oranges for breakfast.   He ate bites of everything for lunch: meat balls, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.  

These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  These little yellow and blue (I'm hoping that's blue) cars have quickly become Miles' favorite toy in this toy set.  He has a doll bottle in each hand and he's putting them in the holes in the car.  This morning he was doing the exact same thing again.  His exploration and experimenting has just taken off now that he's mobile!!  Second picture; Avi putting the bunny ears on Miles and he doesn't care at all.  That's more of the mild temperament.  If you look at this picture in "live mode" hi expression doesn't change and he just sits there!!  :)

Next picture: Well here are those cars again!!  Atley put them in the chair and, "I line them up so people can choose one they want."  Miles knew what he wanted!!  Following picture: Miles was letting me snuggle him, which doesn't happen real often, at least not for more than a few seconds.  So I had to do some selfies too!  Last picture:  This picture was taken shortly before lunch and the three youngest were having fun on and under the blue balance beam.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
