Miles - 9/28/2020
Miles ate several bites of whole grain Chex cereal and ate two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate refried beans with hamburger and shredded cheese spread on top. He ate no corn tortilla and ate his mandarin oranges.
Ok, I'll get the Blogs back up and running!! Our Family from Billings left yesterday and our Louisiana Family left today about Noon. It was wonderful having everyone here and we were super super busy. The best news; our Louisiana Family is going home to electricity after 28 days without it!! I'm Very Thankful for that!!
This first picture of Miles is left over from Wednesday afternoon. I just decided this picture was too cute to not use it!! All of our Family sure got a kick out of Miles and were so impressed how he just goes about his business all day long and entertains himself. What a jewel he is.
We managed to get a Toy, book, and puzzle exchange done this weekend! Primarily done by one of our workers; Svea and Avi's big Sister. Thanks for all your hard work Sylvie. In the next picture Miles and Cal are playing side-by-side with identical toys. In the following picture Svea was squealing on Miles because he had a toy in his mouth and she was saying how "big kids don't put toys in their mouths!!" Pretty hilarious coming from one who has excelled at that violation. :) Last picture: Our new neighbors were moving all their stuff into their house this morning and that provided a window watching moment!! I'm happy to report our new neighbors seem like wonderful people with a 2 year child. I'm always a bit anxious about new neighbors moving in beside our Child Care Program. When Lauralea and I had a Group Home and were licensed for 12 kids we were much more noisy than now, but we've always had great neighbors and no complaints!! (You can see Miles standing between Nora and Atley.)
