Miles -10/22/2020

Miles ate blueberry bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger and sausage pizza, with whole wheat pizza crust, tomato sauce, peppers, pineapple, and olives.  He also ate pineapple on the side.  We serve the crust separate and he just had a bite of that.  

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Svea was on the igloo and initially she was trying to get Miles to grab her toes.  He didn't care about that and he was just touching her gently. 

Next picture:  I took this picture shortly after Avi and Svea arrived.  Avi frequently plays with the two boys before she does anything else.  She was sliding the red phone across the floor and then crawling with Miles to go retrieve it.  I encouraged her to let him grab it first some times to keep his interest in the game. Following picture; I've seen Miles lay like this on the mattress several times; maybe two times today.  I think he simply likes how it feels.  

Next picture:  Cal had a toy in his hand on was trying to lay it on the piece of trim across the wall.  Miles was there to support his buddy.  :)  I don't usually let them stand on the couch because they will start jumping and there happens to be a mattress just for that.  However, it was pretty cute how they were up there side-by-side.  Last picture:  Miles loves these buses because the door in the back opens up.  That's the perfect toy for him.  I like how he has the school bus high-centered on a cup.  Ha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
