Miles - 12/22/2020

Miles ate whole wheat English muffin and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate his pork roast, whole wheat toast, taste of beets (I quickly rubbed it across his lips and he licked his lips - ha), and ate applesauce.  

This first picture is left over from yesterday.  Miles was holding this cup and I said, "Miles, have a drink of milk and he immediately did."  His receptive language is developing like crazy!!  I love this age group so much; their learning curve is so Steep!!  (Wait until their teen years - there will be a period where you think the curve has hit a dead end!!  Haha,  Just some humor for the day.)

Next picture:  Avilene has a tape measure from the Preschool Room and was gonna measure Miles.  It's not easy measuring a moving target.  Haha.  Following picture:  I was spinning this toy and making it go really fast; you can see it's a blur.  Miles was loving that and grinning all over.  You can see from his cheeks he's grinning.

Next picture: I came around the corner and he was playing here and gave me the biggest cutest grin; so I gotta take a picture right!?!  :)  Last picture: Callahan was working hard to lay out the blanket.  Then he picked up his baby to wrap it and the blanket's gone!!  What the heck!?!  Look at Miles' expression; totally focused on Cal's reaction!!  Kids!  :)  Miles kept doing it so I stood between them so Cal could get his baby wrapped up.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
