Miles - 01/15/2021

Miles had a taste of brown rice and ate some raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate three servings of salmon, ate whole wheat dinner roll, no riced cauliflower, and ate mangoes.  He wouldn't touch the riced cauliflower; probably resembled the morning rice too closely!!  :)

Just a reminder; Miles will need wipes for Monday.  He's completely out.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when the weather was several degrees above freezing and the kids had fun outside.  Miles LOVES playing outside.  He's gonna love it when the weather warms up a bit so we can be out for longer periods of time.  

Next picture:  Miles and I were sitting on the couch looking at this picture in "Live" Mode and he was chuckling every time.  So of course I had to play it over and over.  So cute.  I guess this Blog format doesn't accept the live mode.  I have no idea.  You better ask your Dad about that Miles.  :)  

Next picture;  Miles seems a bit distressed by the incoming call!!  Haha.  Check out his "leg position!!"  Sorry, I can't help myself!!  I think it's adorable!!  Following picture:  Cal put this hardhat on Miles 3 or 4 times, and Miles just chuckled and pushed it off.  Mr Congeniality!!  Last picture:  Avilene played with Miles - similar to a mauling - several times this morning.  She was sprinting across the room acting goofy and his eyes were following her everywhere and he was chuckling.  Again.  Haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
