Miles - 03/16/2021

Miles ate half of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate several bites of chicken, no brown rice, couple bites of broccoli, and ate mandarin oranges.  

Here's a quote from Cal this morning, but I gotta preface it by saying we frequently hear Alexa playing "Christmas Songs" usually requested by Atley or Nora. One favorite is "Santa Claus is coming to town." So this morning Cal asked if Miles was coming; "Is Miles coming to town?" Haha. I roared. You're seriously funny Callahan. First picture is left over from yesterday afternoon. Miles was enjoying pushing the dump trucks up and down the sidewalk. 

Next picture: Miles loves to "fist bump" with anyone who is available and willing. Cal does too, but Miles is a bit more obsessed. This is the first time I've observed them "fist bumping" with each other. :) Second picture: Cal was getting a bit upset with Svea because she wouldn't "wake up" and get ready to go to "the store!!" He was saying, "Come on Svea, come on!!" "Wake up Svea, wake up!!" I think Miles was just hanging out there for moral support for his buddy Cal. Ha

Last picture: Miles was standing on three blocks at the gate randomly waving at no one in the entrance room. I got the camera and asked him to "wave again at someone." He immediately gets off and goes to the window to see who I wanted him to wave at! Hahaha!! I kept telling him to wave at anything I could think of and Atley said, "wave at the garbage can." Haha. He was intently looking up and down the street!!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
