Miles - 03/24/2021

Miles ate his waffles and ate two servings of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch he ate bites of whole 30 chili with meat, peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and tomato sauce. He ate bites of whole wheat dinner roll and ate tropical fruit.  

First picture: Cal is perched on the top of the structure keeping an eye on Svea and Nora. I think the girls were in a little bit of danger here from Cal falling, blocks collapsing from Cal, or Miles inadvertently pushing some blocks over on top of them. But it never happened. I would have lost money on this bet. :)

Next picture: I've mentioned this before and you've seen it as well. Miles will frequently cover his head with something. Ha. Silly little critter. Sister left her blanket on the mattress and Miles was making good use of it.

Next two pictures: We kept this block structure intact most of yesterday and until about 10:00 this morning. I gave the boys the green light to dismantle (haha) and Yipee!! Nothing more fun than that. Girls like doing this too of course, but it's in the boy's DNA. Haha. I'm just guessing here, but I'm betting the demolition business is a male dominated business. My son would have been an expert. (Actually he was kind of an expert with explosives - pre 9/11 - but we'll keep that a secret. A secret that I've shared with most of you already!! Haha.)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
