Miles - 04/19/2021

Miles ate most of chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef, toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate avocado, tomato, and two servings of mandarin oranges. 

I took this first picture right after Cal arrived. The first thing Cal did was get on top of the igloo and Miles went to the corner and started squealing and cheering. Haha. And this is what Cal was doing while the other kids were waving bye to Bubba and Daddy Colin! Miles was saying, "Bubba Bubba Bubba." 

Next picture: Callahan and Svea were doing some coloring and Miles was yelling and pointing that he wanted to do some coloring as well. Look how he's holding the marker; "adult style." Wow Momma Emily,  he is advanced! :) The natural progression is "thumb down" "thumb up" and then "adult style." He said, "Heck, I'm going right to the top!" :)

Last picture: Miles was pretty distressed that he got left behind when Momma Emily picked up Nora for her Doctor appointment this morning. He wandered around crying and moaning and not much was soothing for him. Then he just laid down where you see him and Cal started bouncing up and down and acting silly; that was the miracle cure. Thanks Cal; good job of helping your friend. So Miles laid there while I started putting Lunch on the plates and when I was ready for him to come out, he was asleep!! Surprised me! He woke up and ate a big lunch!!

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
