Miles - 05/04/2021

Miles ate bite of waffle and ate three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, half of whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and baked cinnamon apples. 

I'm gonna mention it today and again on Friday: There will be no Blogs next week while I'm in Louisiana. (I'd be more than happy to post pictures of Gideon from there - every day!! Ha.) Blogs will resume on Monday the 17th.

First picture: Miles was happy to be back after missing Monday and Cal was happy to have him back!! Here they are in a favorite spot doing a favorite activity!! Cal pushing the chair around and around and Miles getting a free ride!! Second picture: Miles spent some time with Sister on the couch under the blanket and I posted another picture in Nora's Blog how this ended up!! :)

Three pictures playing with Callahan!! We gotta do a fist-bumping picture because that's what Miles does! Haha. Following picture: And this is what Cal does; head first off the couch. Miles is taking advantage of the opportunity to bop his buddy in the butt! Third picture: More silliness from the boys. They had fun playing in the tunnel. After this picture Miles went to the other end of the tunnel and that looked funny; Cal's head sticking out of one end and Miles' feet sticking out of the other end. :)

Last two pictures: Avi was happy to have her buddy Miles back with us today. And I think he was happy to see her as well. He still feels a bit puny and in the second picture he was content to just stand/lean there with his head resting against Avi. Very sweet and precious.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
