Miles - 06/25/2021

Miles ate oatmeal and half of his baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, green beans, and potatoes. He ate fruit cocktail and ate his whole wheat dinner roll.   

Miles tried to say Lauralea's name this morning: and Lauralea was thrilled!! :) It came out "Ar-ley" and that was pretty stinking cute. Then he buckled himself into his highchair and said something that sounded like; "buckle." Came out "buck." Those "uck" words always make me nervous!! Haha. Just so you know; "They didn't learn it here!!" Haha.

First two pictures of Miles doing what Miles does best; scouring the floor for the most minuscule things he can find. Then he presents them to me like there are the best trophy ever!! Thank you Miles!! His attention to detail is pretty noticeable already and this is just one example. 

Lauralea thinks this picture looks a lot like Nora! He was sitting on my lap snuggling, then squirmed to get down and immediately got back up to sit beside me. I love the contented look on his face. You're a pretty cool little fella Miles and I love you lots. Following picture; Miles had a legos tractor and trailer and was intently studying it. I love how he examines everything. Last picture: We played outside while sister Nora was at Swim Lesson and then went back inside well before they got back. We didn't want Miles to spot Momma and wreck his morning and wreck our eardrums! He did wave bye to her at the window, but that doesn't seem to negatively affect him.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
