Miles - 06/28/2021

Miles ate kix cereal and two large servings of fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey mixed with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thins, tomatoes, and ate black-raspberries.  

Miles ran to the window to wave bye at Momma and immediately started pointing, squealing, and squawking looking toward the sky. He'd spotted the moon and it was big - probably at least 3/4. A few minutes later he was back at the window and it was the same level of excitement and squealing. This time it was a tiny minuscule fly on the outside of the window. Haha. 

First picture: Miles spotted a truck the workers were using next door and he was saying, "Hi hi hi hi" in this soft voice. Haha. Following picture: Face first on the mattress. This could mean lots of things right!?! Here's what it means this time: I was on the couch and he'd make a sound and I'd mimic the sound. Then he'd run to the mattress and flop face-first laughing and giggling. Over and over many times which was actually good practice making sounds that I could mimic.

Next picture: Atley and Avi were playing a couple new games I got and I like how Miles was keeping an eye on their activity. Cal is with his Grandma today so Miles was doing his own thing most of the morning as the girls played in the Preschool Room. Following picture: We were chasing bubbles and Miles was on the ground looking for leftovers. Haha. Last picture: He found 2 or 3 roly-poly bugs this morning and I guess he lost one in here.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
