Miles - 07/19/2021

Miles ate corn chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef covered with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, two servings of tomatoes, and two servings of mandarin oranges.  

First picture: This is one of the reasons I've always liked these large "legos blocks" so much! Even the youngest ages can manipulate them and even the oldest still occasionally play with them! As soon as Miles piled up these 4 blocks he knocked them over. Ha. Second picture; Miles got behind my chair and was having fun peeking out while I was trying to get a picture using the "selfie mode." Ha. 

The Nelson girls were at Swim Lessons, then Nora left for swim lesson, Cal is not here today, so that left Atley and Miles playing outside. Next picture: Atley was pointing out a fairly large spider web to Miles. The picture doesn't pick it up very good, but you may see if if you zoom in on the picture. Atley thought it was hilarious when a piece of Miles' hair touched the web. Ha. Following picture: I picked up a couple new Hot Wheels cars and Atley was impressed! "New Cars!!" :)

Last picture; Shortly after I took the two previous pictures then Atley left for Tennis Lesson. Ha. So it was just Miles here for awhile. So when this buck (whose antlers are in velvet) showed up Miles was the only one here to enjoy it!! The deer didn't even care that Miles was thumping on the window. Urban Deer.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles - 08/24/2022

Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
