Miles - 09/02/2021

Miles ate bites of whole wheat English muffin and ate two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, most of peas-n-carrots, and ate applesauce.  

I was singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and Miles was doing some of the motions and he would say the last word/sound of every verse. Ha. "tar" "r" "high" "ky"

Here's some pictures of our trek to the Park this morning. Atley pulling the wagon with Miles and Cal aboard and Svea walking along with Atley. Svea also took a turn on pulling the wagon with Atley pushing from behind. I didn't pull the wagon either way; going or returning. Second picture: This was the first thing Cal and Miles did at the park; climb up and go down this slide. It's several steps up there and I caught Miles when he got to the bottom. He giggled, but his eyes got big on the way down and he only did it the one time!! :)

Next picture: And on to the the swings!! Of course Cal was saying, "Faster Gary, faster!!" I had them going plenty fast!! Ha. Miles was giggling on the down swing as it tickled his tummy. Following picture: He thought about following Atley - made it one step. Ha. And in the third picture I even managed to get all 4 of the kids in the same picture!! Last picture: Miles worked hard while trying to cover the bench with sand and pebbles.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
