Miles - 10/19/2021

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three BIG servings of grapes for breakfast. (And still saying, "MO, MO, MO, MO!!!" Haha. "No, you've had LOTS!!") For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice soaked in berry juice, ate broccoli, and three servings of mixed berries. 

This is about Callahan and Svea, but I thought you might like to read this!! Cal asked me this morning if we could read books and I said, "As soon as everybody is here we'll read books." So you probably can guess what he kept asking me; "Is everybody here, Is everybody here?" Miles came; "Is everybody here?" Svea came; "Is everybody here?" Yes, but now it was breakfast time. (By the way we read LOTS of our "Special" books after breakfast!!) When Svea arrived she had no idea about the background of our discussion, BUT of course she had an opinion and it was a doozy!! She said, "Cal you are not everybody!! You are just one kid!!" And at breakfast she still felt the need to quiz him; "Cal, are you everybody!?" :)

First picture: Cal and Miles were running back and forth between the window and the couch again. This has become a morning ritual with these two; especially if they are the first two here. Back and forth, back and forth; laughing and giggling having a good time. Second picture: I asked Miles to show me his teeth and this is what I got!! Haha. Third picture; Miles working on some building project. Trying to figure out why his building keeps toppling over!! :)

Next picture: The moment Cal has been impatiently waiting for has arrived and Gary has to take another minute for a picture of my cute kids. :) I love Story Time and so do they!! Miles is starting to stay for all the books now!! Ask me about him rolling off the couch from the exact position you see in the picture!! Right after I took this picture!! I've NO idea what he was doing and I'm not sure he knew what he was doing either!! But he hit the pretty hard; didn't cry or make a sound and crawled right back up! Last picture; Miles doing some Art and focused on his work. (Using his right hand this time Emily.)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
