Miles - 10/28/2021

Miles ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of ground beef, ate most of his whole wheat elbow noodles, most of his peas/carrot mix, and ate applesauce. 

The boys were running to the window to wave bye at Emily and Miles' number one concern was making sure that Cal knew it was "Me Mom! Me Mom! Me Mom!" Haha. It cracks me up and they ALL do that!! I remember one little Boy at the window looking at his waving competitor and said, "That's my Stinking Dad!!" Oops, I think that was most likely a "Gary-ism!"

First picture: Cal and Miles were on each side of me on the couch and the entire time we were doing selfies both boys were playing with wooden "pizza cutters" that they frequently use as lollipops!! Haha. Goofy kids. Second picture: Cal asked if her could play with some sunglasses - which I keep on the shelf - and I took this picture shortly after. I can't believe these cheap "dollar store" sunglasses have lasted this long. 

Next picture: Cal was covering Miles with every pillow, blanket, and stuffed animal he could find! Miles is under there! You can see his arm in the mirror. Following picture: This was pretty hilarious as Cal was saying to Miles, "You chewed on my Baby, You chewed on my Baby, You chewed on my Baby!!" Over and over, maybe 50 times! Seriously!! Zoom in Miles' face. He is laughing so hard. Haha. 

Last picture; They were lining up and jumping off, but I could never get a picture of them all going at the same time. Cal is slipping off the pillow on this shot. Ha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
