Miles - 01/24/2022
Miles ate a large serving of kix cereal and a large serving of fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey topped with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate tomatoes, and three servings of cherries. I love how enthusiastic Miles is for food at meal time. He washes his hands at the kitchen sink so his ritual goes like this: He starts cheering for the food as he walks into the kitchen before he even knows what it is. "YAY!!!" Once he gets on the stool to wash he can now see the food on top of the counter and starts cheering again!! Haha. "YAY!!!"
Miles is the only one here today; Svea is at Disney World and Cal will be back tomorrow. So I've kind of overloaded Miles' Blog with pictures!! This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon when Miles had finished sorting all the little colored bears. Good work Miles! I even confirmed this ("good work") with Lauralea and Svea so I know he got them all correct. Haha. Stinking colors!! Second picture; We went on a road trip - actually a sidewalk trip - to the Pet Store and Cabela's this morning. It was still very chilly so we were dressed warm!!
4 Pictures - Miles Looking at Mice, Hamsters, Fish, and Turtles. I like the fourth picture with the turtles as you can see the reflection of Miles' face in the turtle tank. There were at least 6 - 8 turtles in there. From there we went to Cabela's, but I didn't take any pictures although Cabela's does have a small kid's section. On the way home Miles kept looking back saying, "Pet Store, Pet Store, Pet Store, Pet Store."
Next picture: I found Miles' soul mate in the animal kingdom!! Haha. This sign totally reminded me of Miles - the Master of word Repetition!! It's ok Miles, I love parakeets!! They have a nice pen with lots of colorful parakeets, but it's hanging a bit too high for small children to enjoy.
Once we got back home we stayed outside so Miles could play. The snow is quite frozen and with all the footprints there, it's very hard for Miles to walk across. So he was crawling across the snow to head back to concrete!! :) Last picture: Once inside he played with legos and regular puzzles.
