Miles - 01/31/2022

Miles ate a large serving of cheerios and two servings of banana for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef topped with avocado, whole wheat pita bread, olives, and two large servings of peaches.

First picture: We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and Miles called these trucks/shape sorters "school buses." He spotted them and was excited, "School Bus!! School Bus!!" They can be whatever you want them to be Miles!! Second picture: Svea brought an umbrella to show the boys and share with them. Miles looked pretty cute protecting himself from the rain!! :) 

Next picture; I LOVE it when Miles comes and sits by me, scoots close, and lays his head on my chest. It's just the sweetest thing and SO precious. And even on Toy Exchange Monday too! Wow, I felt privileged! We were sitting here and Cal said, "What you doing here Gary?" Haha. Oh I just thought I'd drop by to see how you kids are doing!! :)

Next picture; Well Svea is back so things are gonna be a little more organized than last week!! Haha. She has all the food laid out in a certain order and sternly lets the boys know NOT to mess with it until she gives some mysterious unknown signal. Haha. Svea said, "We are going on a camping adventure!" I said, "Well that's a great plan." Svea said, "Yes, I thought it in my head." :) Last picture: Svea and Cal were in the Preschool Room doing activities and Miles was jumping off the blue balance beam. He was being SO CAREFUL not to upset any of Svea's food arrangement. Good work Miles. (Miles had just pooped and it was close to Lunch Time/Nap Time so I put the pajamas on him.)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
