Miles - 03/03/2022

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three large servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate Hamburger & Sausage Pizza with meat, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce. No whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve on the side), and ate a large serving of pineapple. At the end of Lunch he started saying, "My bib is bugging me, my bib is bugging me." Ha. He manages to pull it up and get it on the highchair tray. I'm only giving him and Cal a bib now when the meal has potential to be overly messy. :)

Funny note from this morning: Before Lunch Cal was being a little skunk - actually a big skunk in Svea's estimation - anyhow she was reading him the Riot Act and giving him a stern lecture with authority. My favorite part of the lecture was when she said, "Cal! You are acting just like Miles!!" LOL!! That was SO funny! And she was SO serious which made it even funnier.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Avi was making a "bridge" for the kids to go under. Svea got directly under Avi and then was pushing up as hard as she could with her head. Ha. Miles was going back and forth under Avi while Callahan appears to be taking aim at Avi's butt with the drill/gun! Haha. Avi was enjoying the challenge of staying in position!

Here are some pictures from Miles' morning. Avi has a sack full of food toys, but didn't want Miles to get in her sack. However, she knew how to appease him; she went and got him another truck. :) Following picture: This is the first time Miles has done the alphabet puzzle, but he really liked it. 

Next picture; Miles stacking the colored shapes on the rods again. Notice it's the same as yesterday; only the round ball shapes; no cylinders or squares allowed!! :) Last picture: I was focused on Cal telling me his story and I took his picture not realizing Miles was in the background. Then I saw Miles was trying to drill an additional hole in his nose. Haha.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles - 01/26/2022

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
