Miles - 04/21/2022

Miles ate French toast and bites of dried plums for breakfast. In the middle of his breakfast Miles said, "I want mangoes." Haha. For lunch he ate pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, peas, and two servings of strawberries.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when the boys were searching for flies using the "bug-slapper." In this picture you can see Miles pointing and he was saying, "There's one! There's one!" It was well above the door. Cal said, "It's too high; we can't reach it." Then Cal added, "We can't fly." THEN after a couple more seconds Cal asked, "Gary, do have any wings for us!?!" LOL! Oh that made me laugh! Nope, sorry Cal, I'm fresh out. However, that was a great idea!! The FIRST thing Miles said to me when he walked in this morning; "Gary, Do you have any wings?" Haha. 

Next picture: Svea hid some Easter eggs for Miles and in the picture she is watching him "find" some eggs. Her "clues" for him are hilarious. "Ok, lift up the pillow and look under here." "Bend over and look into there." She hid 21 eggs and he was tired of this game after about 7 eggs. Haha. And she couldn't remember where she put two of them, but they ended up finding them all!

Next picture: Svea was starting to fix some beds here and the boys got on the bottom shelf. Svea told me, "We're pretending this is our bunk bed." Or at least she was pretending that! Two seconds later the boys decided there was not nearly enough room for the both of them and they baled out and took off!! Haha. Following picture: Svea was repairing a Doll House toy for Cal and Miles was intently watching. When she finished Cal got the piece and took off. I asked Cal, "Why didn't you tell Svea Thank You?" Cal said, "Because I was afraid to." Haha. "Well try to overcome your fear and go tell her thank you." And he did.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Yes that was sad for me too! She said, "Did they bury him up ?" "Put him into ashes?" "Or in the sea?" So precious. Firs...

Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
