Miles - 06/10/2022

Miles ate cream of wheat cereal and a couple bites of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate bites of chicken, ate whole wheat toast, half of his broccoli, and ate pineapple. So here's a Tidbit Cal randomly offered us at Lunch Time: "If you tip over and keep your mouth open then you won't gargle." Svea asked, "What does that mean!?!?" Sorry Svea I can't help you because I have NO idea. Haha.

Do you recognize anyone in the first picture?!? We have Family pictures posted in the hallway and Miles is convinced that's his Daddy. I'm not sure why we'd have a picture of Ryan kissing Missy - Lauralea's daughter hanging in our house. Haha. However, it's a side view and that could definitely be Ryan. Maybe it is Ryan; now I'm not sure!! :) Speaking of "Daddy" this morning Miles said, "Dad's in Idaho. At a Hotel." I said, "Oh, your Dad's in a motel in Idaho?" Miles said, "No, hotel." LOL.

Next three pictures: The kids were itching to get outside so we went out even though it was drizzling all morning. In this next picture they were deciding that it really might be raining!! Second picture: While we were standing there trying to determine the weather a crow landed on the wire above us. You can see it in the top middle of the picture. Third picture: However the flies were still landing on the side of the garage so the kids asked for the bug slapper! :)

Last picture: This was just TOO cute! It was a very solemn and sober moment. She was telling him goodbye as he was preparing to leave to wash his hands in the kitchen. And he was just as dramatic about the moment as she was!! As they stood there gazing at each other and mumbling a bit, the only thing I could think of was: "I now pronounce you Husband and Wife." Haha. (Humoring myself again!!)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
