Miles - 06/17/2022

Miles ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his Hamburger Stew with meat, potatoes, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes. He ate whole wheat dinner roll and ate his fruit cocktail.

I've mentioned this so many times, but I frequently wonder what the Parents are thinking when they're in the cars waving bye to the kids at the window. I'm on the other side listening to the crazy things the kids are saying! Atley and Miles were waving bye to Daddy Ryan and Miles said, "Goodbye Mr. Potato Head." I confess, I thought it was hilarious. Haha. You can thank Callahan for that remark. He's been saying that to everyone frequently!! :) 

First picture: This is left over from yesterday afternoon when the kids were watching a roly poly bug. Second picture: Heading to "Cold Springs School Playground." Atley insisted on taking the wagon so she could pull it. After playing and getting all heated-up she wasn't nearly as enthusiastic on the return trip!! Ha. Third picture; We made it to the Playground!!

Next picture; Finding bugs; primarily spiders. Miles alerted us to several "spider web! spider web!!"  Last picture: On the way home from the Playground we crossed over to look at the irrigation ditch. No water skippers, but we floated various things in the water through the little culvert.

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
