Miles - 08/02/2022

Miles ate toasted raisin cinnamon English muffin and three large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, beets, and three large servings of applesauce.

First picture: Miles ran to the window to wave bye to Atley's Momma Megan. He kept yelling at Atley; "Your Mom's gonna be gone!! Your Mom's gonna be gone!!" But Atley was too busy at the Art Table with Nora stringing beads on a necklace. Ha. But Megan slowed down to wave at Miles and I'm sure she loved it. Second picture: Miles saw me watching him and rightly assumed I was gonna take a picture! "Are you ready Gary!?!" Ready, Action!! His toes are on the edge of that board.

More pictures of Miles from this morning. Sister Nora reading to him. :) He asked for help putting on the mask in the following picture. Who's he looking at? Lauralea was saying to him; "Hi Little Piggy. Hi Little Piggy."

Last two pictures: Miles found 2 Roly-Poly Bugs almost immediately after going outside this morning. And he donated them to the girls. Side Note # 1: Atley said they were wearing those "head things" "to keep us comfy." Haha. Last picture: Riding bikes while the girls play under the parachute. (He was under there for 10 - 15 minutes too.) Side Note # 2: Roly Poly bugs remind me of the time when a small boy (21 year old now) was sitting on the patio - just old enough to be sitting up. Lauralea said, "Mason, what is in your mouth?" He opened his mouth and there were at least 5 - 6 roly poly bugs just hanging out. :)

Miles ate waffle and three large servings of grapes - LOVE those Candy Snaps - for breakfast. For lunch he ate bite of his chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of corn, and ate apple pieces.  Miles was pretty clingy to Daddy this morning and after Ryan left I told Miles; "Good job not crying." Miles said, "At Grandma Pam's?" Haha. Sure, at Grandma Pam's. Then he was telling me something about "puking" and I basically never figured it out except for this; "I got watermelon puke." Haha. Ok, whatever. First picture: Well did you notice Miles in this picture? Haha. He's laying on the couch, but I wanted to show you what he frequently does after arrival when he's a bit "bent out of shape." He wasn't crying or super upset, he just didn't like the transition. Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of candy grapes. For lunch he ate bites of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of his carrots, and three large servings of fruit salad. Random notes:  Miles asked, "Did the thunder come to your house?" Yup. "Was it loud?" Yup. "Why?" Haha. I was snuggling Nora on the couch and Miles was listening to what I said to Nora. "Nora, You've always been my girl! You're so very sweet." Miles said, "I miss my Mom." LOL!! That hit my funny bone and I laughed so hard. Miles started laughing when he saw my reaction. So cute and sweet. I love how kids frequently arrange their words! On our way to Cold Springs Playground Nora started taking about Big Willy again as we passed his house. "I can't believe he died." Miles ate three large servings of French toast covered with three large servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, saltines, half of his carrots, and ate his fruit salad. Right after breakfast Miles said, "Outside? Outside? Outside?" Cal said, "Well it's too foggy." Haha. "We'll go outside after Snack today Miles just like we did yesterday." So here is a picture from yesterday afternoon. The snow is pretty frozen underneath the new couple of inches we got. It makes for hard walking across the snow, but it was pretty entertaining to watch!! Especially when the boys also tried to push dump trucks across it as well. Miles gave up on that and just laid down on the path to the garage. :) Next picture: This picture from this morning reminds me of yesterday afternoon when the boys awoke from their naps and wanted to do some puzzles.
