Miles ate oatmeal and ate baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch he ate hamburger stew with meat, potatoes, green beans, tomatoes, and carrots. He ate whole wheat dinner roll and fruit cocktail. (He ate more than anyone at lunch! By far!)  First picture: You can read more about this on Nora's Blog, but Miles kept blocking the big girls from their jumps. Was he doing it intentionally? Hmmm....maybe/probably somewhat!! Haha. After all he does understand language and knew what they were saying, but their request to get completely off the mattress wasn't reasonable either!! :) Next picture; This is his daily ritual for the past few weeks. He gets 2 (always 2) blocks and puts them in pretty much the exact same spot. Then uses them for his own personal step onto the mattress. Later in the morning Atley tried to move them before he was ready to let them go. "Yell!!" Ha. Next picture: Spending time in the library. I love it (at any age) when Kids discover the joy of b...

Miles ate French toast and dried plums for Breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, peas, and two servings of watermelon.   First picture: Miles has been doing the infamous "butt bombs" off the blue balance beam onto the mattress. He bounces and immediately goes into the forward motion ending up in the position you see in the picture. I've been trying to get him to say "butt bomb" and today he did! "Butt Boo!" Haha. Close enough!! Next picture: Hmmm, why do we frequently have a selfie with Miles!!??!! Because he's so stinking snuggly and it's lovely!! Isn't this cute. Thank you Miles. I think I love the snuggling part as much or more than you do! Following picture: Miles was arranging these stacking cups on the balance beam. I love that I can choose a picture from a variety and I was able to get this one with him looking at me out of the corner of his eye. The girls LOVED this picture when I showed it to them and they...

I'm a bit slow getting these Blogs started because Tate - lawn mowing wizard - gave me a 2 minute warning that he was coming today. :) Text: "I'm on my way!" and he lives 2.0 minutes away and that's when he walks. Ha. I usually have everything moved and ready for him. Sometimes there are lots of Daycare equipment on the lawn. Anyhow it's all good. Miles ate whole wheat toast and two servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef with marinara sauce on top of whole wheat spaghetti noodles. He ate cauliflower and ate fruit salad. Doing some selfies with Miles and then I showed him this picture and asked, "Who's that?" He said, "Me." Good job Miles. "So what's your name?" "Mom." I laughed. "What's your name?" "Dad." You goof. :) Next picture: Miles got into the legos drawer and played here for several minutes. It's been a few days since he's done that. He was finding ...

Miles ate blueberry bagel and three large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice soaked in blackberry juice, ate broccoli, and black raspberries. At breakfast Miles asked for more grapes and I told him he could have more when he finished his pieces of blueberry bagel. (I'd broke them into small pieces.) He promptly picked up every piece that was left, probably 5 or 6 pieces, and shoved them into his mouth. Then he was trying to get my attention that it was time for more grapes - haha - with his cheeks bulging! Goofy sucker. This isn't the first time and I keep a close eye on him in case he chokes! Nora was laughing at him! :) This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon; I showed it to Momma Emily, but I wanted to Post it here too. I guess I must be slightly obsessed with Miles' hair!! Haha! It's kinda fun!! Nice Ducktail with your muscle shirt Miles!  Two pictures from the boys playing inside this morning. You'll see in No...

Miles ate bran cereal and raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken topped with avocado, whole wheat pita bread, cucumbers, and pears.  We did a toy exchange this weekend and it's been a few weeks because we were on vacation and then my cleaning people were on vacation!! The kids were VERY excited to have new stuff and it was fun to watch the excitement. Miles was randomly saying, "Bubba, Bubba, Bubba." Over and over. Cal finally said, "Don't say Bubba. That's my brother." Miles response? "Bubba, Bubba, Bubba." Repeat this several times and you get the idea what I was listening to. Haha.  Pictures from this morning. Miles with the school buses - there are actually 4 of them - and he's trying to figure out how to keep them ALL for himself!! Second picture: Well it's basically the same as the first picture: Miles saw Cal with a doll and was "protecting" this one so Cal couldn't get it!! Haha. I've watched this exac...

Miles ate cream of wheat cereal and a bite of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of his chicken, ate brown rice, broccoli, and ate pineapple.   Yesterday Svea told Cal to ask Miles something. I have no idea what the question was, but Cal followed instructions and asked Miles something. Miles just sat there and stared at Cal; never saying a word. Finally Cal looked at Svea and said, "He said no." Haha. Kids totally crack me up!!  I also have some pictures left over from yesterday that I'm posting here. Miles and Callahan were playing under the parachute when they were the only ones here. They were zipping down the slide over and over. Then Miles found the perfect fit for one of the noodles. Good work Miles. Third picture; I just thought this was cute because it was the 3 youngest ones lined up on the airplane. The bigger kids usually use it more as a teeter-totter.  Next picture: Miles did lots of art with chalk yesterday and that was the first thing he asked...

The reason for this note is to inform everyone there will be NO BLOGS tomorrow Thursday the 22nd. The State ChildCare Licensor will be here doing an in-home thorough inspection after lunch during the time I normally do the Blogs. Blogs will be back on Friday the 23rd. Miles ate French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate half of Whole 30 Chili with meat, peppers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and spices. He ate whole wheat dinner roll and tropical fruit. First picture from yesterday afternoon: Drama Queen Svea!! She was playing on and around the mattress with Miles and Cal; although Cal is momentarily out of the picture. Svea was doing lots of dialogue, but I caught a little piece of it when she said, "Ok Guys! Let's stay together cause they're gonna take our picture!!" Haha. Second picture: Cal and Miles were doing some Art with markers and stickers again. More pictures doing outside time!! It took me about 15 tries before I could get a ...

Miles ate whole wheat English muffin and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, bites of beets, and some applesauce.  Whenever I ask Miles a question like; "How was your weekend?" "What'd you do last night?" His standard one word answer is always; "Mom!!" or "Mommy!!" And the answer is usually coming out before I even finish the question. Ha. This first picture is from yesterday afternoon when all the kids (Cal was absent yesterday) were on the airplane. That "carry-on" will cost you a lot Avi. Ha. Atley was the pilot while Nora and Svea were on the wings. :) Next picture: Miles and Cal initially went around to the cozy corner to "hide" from Gary. Then they started reading books and playing other games. I had Miles' hair slicked back, but it dries quickly and he's not inclined to sit quietly and keep it looking nice! Haha. (That was a joke.) Following picture I took ...

Miles ate corn chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef covered with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, two servings of tomatoes, and two servings of mandarin oranges.   First picture: This is one of the reasons I've always liked these large "legos blocks" so much! Even the youngest ages can manipulate them and even the oldest still occasionally play with them! As soon as Miles piled up these 4 blocks he knocked them over. Ha. Second picture; Miles got behind my chair and was having fun peeking out while I was trying to get a picture using the "selfie mode." Ha.  The Nelson girls were at Swim Lessons, then Nora left for swim lesson, Cal is not here today, so that left Atley and Miles playing outside. Next picture: Atley was pointing out a fairly large spider web to Miles. The picture doesn't pick it up very good, but you may see if if you zoom in on the picture. Atley thought it was hilarious when a pie...

Miles ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and applesauce.  First picture: Miles enjoying some attention and love from Lauralea. Lauralea told me to crop this picture because she didn't have her hair fixed yet and I think this is acceptable!! It was just too precious not to Post. :) Next picture: Miles showing off his form as he jumps/steps off the balance beam. It won't be long and he'll be jumping with the best of them!! :) Following picture: Miles was laying under here taking a rest and I peeked at him and he came up grinning. Cutie.  Next picture - You can easily see Miles, but you gotta look a little harder to see Svea. :) She was "hiding" under the blue balance beam and Miles was peeking at her. I like the expression on Svea's face. Last picture; Miles found Svea's cape and was trying to catch up with her and give it to her. She was too focused on "walking the hose!...

Miles ate blueberry bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, tomato sauce, pineapple, peppers, and olives. He ate bites of whole wheat pizza crust (we serve on the side) and ate pineapple on the side.   It always makes me cringe when the kids bonk heads - usually only happens on the mattress - but it does sometimes tell me who has the hardest heads. This morning Cal and Miles bonked foreheads; poor little fellas. Cal was howling and Miles just sat there wondering what happened. Then he started grinning and just wandered off while I snuggled Cal. He's a tough little sucker; but we've already determined that. Now we know his head is hard too. :) Nora, as you know, always asks me what we're having for food for the day. When I answered her today Miles said, "Yummy." Haha. First picture: Atley was under the cozy corner rug and Miles wasn't about to let her rest easy!! Ha. Next pict...
