Miles ate blueberry bagel and three large servings of peaches for breakfast. For lunch he ate hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce. He ate whole wheat toast and three servings of pineapple on the side. First picture: Well the boys were up to their usual tricks and silliness. Same as yesterday, taking turns pushing each other off the balance beam. Surprisingly they can do this for a relatively long time before having conflict. Cal said, "Miles, it takes a lot of practice to do this!!" Haha. Second picture: Cal put on a mask and of course Mile immediately asked me to help him get a mask on. Then they were trying to decide who was the "bad guy." Miles lifted up his mask and said, "Oh Hi Cal!!" Like he didn't know who it was! Ha. We went outside and the boys decided to play "Hide and Seek." And it was very typical for this age of kids. Miles told Cal, "I'm gonna hide right here!" Seco...

Miles ate whole wheat toast and three large servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate pork roast, no whole wheat tortillas, ate carrots, potatoes, and three servings of mango/strawberries.  First picture: Svea and Nora had just relocated their "house" and of course the boys were peering inside monitoring their progress. Cal was whispering to Miles about "stealing their babies." Haha. Goofballs. You can see Nora's legs as she's standing on the block cabinet monitoring the situation!! You boys are living dangerously!! Then the boys declared they were "gonna fight em!" Did I mention these boys are Goofballs!?! Haha. Next picture: First thing this morning Miles and Cal was going off the balance beam backwards and I was cringing watching their heads bounce on the mattress. (Thinking about them banging heads yesterday.) So here's a good picture of "boys at play." Cal was saying, "Tell me when you're ready!" And giving...

Miles ate two servings of toasted cinnamon/raisin English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he had bites of chicken, bite of brown rice, bite of squash, and ate mandarin oranges. "Yukky" and "Gross" were the most common adjectives for the squash. Haha.  First picture: Miles was playing by himself on the mattress doing stiff-body back flops onto the mattress. Nice form and well done Miles!! :)  Next picture: Well this is a classic example of "When the cats are away, the mice will play!!" The girls guarded their jewelry boxes and jewels very closely this morning, but the boys were ready to pounce. Especially Cal! It was driving him nuts that he couldn't rummage through the goodies! The boys would come around and stick their noses in, but they were quickly run off. Haha. Next picture: As soon as we went outside Callahan started practicing "balancing." (His word.) Then Miles went over and joined him and I thought they were doing...

Miles wasn't here for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef topped with avocado, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, and ate two servings of cantaloupe. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and Miles was loving the tractors and kept asking for the barns. (We'd forgot to get those out.) He was only here for a bit over an hour and then I started getting their lunch ready. For awhile I thought this first picture may be the only picture I'd have for his Blog because this is what he played with the entire time. But he eventually explored a few other things - but always went back to the tractors, barns, and barn animals. Did you notice where the toast is at in the picture? I showed this to him and he snickered. Last picture: He gathered up some eggs and then headed back to the barn. He said he was "giving the eggs to the chickens."

Miles ate brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate salmon, most of whole wheat dinner roll, ate green beans, and three large servings of mangoes. At lunch Cal said, "How's your salmon Miles?" Isn't that the cutest? Like a couple of old guys. I heard Cal doing a "knock knock" joke with Miles.  Cal: "Knock Knock." Miles; "Who's there?" Cal: "Bob." Miles: "Bob Who?" Cal: "Bob, who almost pooped on your head." Then they laugh like it's the funniest thing they've ever heard. Ha. I was impressed how they did the "knock knock" joke correctly. First picture: I'm not sure what "game" Avi was trying to arrange here, but she was working hard to have them "lined up" correctly!! And she was learning that is frequently not the easiest thing to do. Similar to herding cats! It was making me laugh. But you do have GREAT form Avilene!! Following picture: Nora, Avi...

Miles ate two servings of toasted cinnamon/raisin English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce. This isn't about Miles, but I think you'll like it! At meal time, usually breakfast, Svea will go wash her hands in the bathroom and come out and say, "Gary! I gotta go potty!" This is a frequent occurrence. This morning she said that and Cal said, "Well hurry up!! Your milk's gonna get cold!!" Hahaha. That made me roar. Funny Guy. He knew he'd said a funny one and he was grinning all over. First picture: The boys have enjoyed playing with the cars on the hardwood floors and they sure work better on the hard wood. In the second picture they were running and running playing chase. When they got tired of that Miles said, "Ok, now we fight!!" Haha. And they headed to the mattress with some pillows. :) Next picture: The girls had been playing with a bi...

Miles ate two servings of French toast casserole and strawberries mixed together for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of Hearty Paleo Stew with meat, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, green beans, and carrots. He ate two servings of saltines and ate tropical fruit. Cal was inviting Miles to come to "my cabin" on Flathead Lake. "Miles you wanna come to my cabin?" Miles was all happy and ready to head to the cabin. He asked Cal, "Do I have to fly there?" Haha. That was a great question! Which Cal promptly ignored. Cal was more interested and focused on telling Miles about the sleeping arrangements. "You come and I'll show you the bunkbed!" Haha.  This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon and I love what was happening here!! First, it's been awhile since all 6 kids were here at the same time so that was unique!! Avilene was getting everyone into their "spots" for a game of "Duck Duck Goose" that sh...

Miles ate bites of waffle and ate a large serving of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, corn, and two servings of apples. Doing Pretend Games . Svea and Nora were doing these beautiful elaborate dance maneuvers floating silently and gracefully around the floor of the Preschool Room. Meanwhile the boys, Cal and Miles, were in the Daycare Room doing their own games; pretending to Poop on each other's heads. Classy Suckers. LOL! Note to Parents of Boys: Maybe lower your expectations ever so slightly!! (Just kidding, but basically true.) You're welcome. :) First picture: Yesterday afternoon our neighbor Jeff was using my trailer to clean up his back yard and the kids were enjoying watching him back the trailer into position. Second picture: The boys were having fun with the battery-powered cars on the hardwood floor and the cars work so much better there than the carpet. Except it's very noisy!! Svea came running over to them and said, "...

Miles ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and three servings of strawberries.  First picture: Nora was working hard to get this Spiderman (I think that's correct) suit on. Yesterday Avilene put it on Miles, but it's a lot of work and he doesn't leave it on for very long! Maybe a minute or two, but it was still sweet of you Nora to try so hard.  Next picture: After they were done with breakfast Avilene was playing with Miles and the School Buses. She knows what he likes!! Nora was amused watching them push the buses back-n-forth! Following picture; Miles was running across the room and flopping on Avi. (Following Avi's instructions!!) She likes to play more rough, so that appeals to Miles! Last picture: We played outside this morning and "spider webs" were the first thing Miles was talking about. It sounded like he was jacked to find some webs. So I asked if he liked spider webs. A big resoundin...

Miles ate half of his whole wheat toast and ate mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate two servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles topped with two servings of ground beef and marinara sauce. He ate cauliflower, and two servings of fruit salad. Miles was having a "coughing spell" at Lunch time and Avi watched intently and waited until he took his first breath and said, "Miles! When you have a mouthful of food, try not to cough!!" Hahaha. He started coughing again and it sounded weird. Miles said, "I make a pig sound again." :) First picture: Miles was playing with the various colored sorting cups and he was convinced the "pink cup" he has belongs to Nora. Second picture: Miles was done with his breakfast and he asked Avi, "Can I watch you?" Well of course! Nothing better than someone's undivided attention! Next picture: We played outside for awhile this morning and the first thing we saw was a bunny in the yard. I managed to get a...

Miles ate half of his blueberry bagel serving and ate a large serving of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate One shrimp, ate brown rice covered with berry juice, ate broccoli, and two servings of mixed berries. First picture: So nice to see my Miles friend this morning. He joined sister Nora standing on the block case so they can see to wave bye at Mommy. I put a rack on my trailer which partially blocks their view. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange while Miles was gone and of course the first things he spotted upon arrival were the school buses. Miles said, "I LOVE the school buses!!" Yes you do Buddy and I'm glad you enjoy them so much!! When I took the next picture he was holding up one of the little people that fit into the buses. Miles said, "This is the perfect kid!!" Haha! Following picture: Avi was so happy to see Miles. Miles was more focused on Svea, but that didn't deter Avilene one bit!! Haha. She still included herself into his play!! H...
