Miles had no cheerios and ate banana for breakfast.  For lunch he ate prune with apple, cereal and Mommy milk.  And he ate watermelon. It's always fun to come back from vacation and see the kids.  And I'm especially glad I get to see the Hansen kids today as they'll be gone until well into August.  I had to take a picture of Miles pulling himself up; he was starting to do this when I saw him last, but he's a pro now.  :) And a couple more pictures of him just being cute.  :)  He has such a mild temperament (yes I know he can yell and scream, but that doesn't change his temperament. ha.) and I love how it comes out in his pictures.  Just a chill little guy.  Aren't these cute?   Last picture: Nora and Atley were building their "cave."  (The igloo.)  Atley said, "Gary!! Miles is trying to break our cave!!"  Haha.  Well actually he was just cruising by and going to the mirror; which is where he was sitti...

When Miles awoke from his morning nap I fed him sweet potatoes, milk, and cereal.  For lunch he ate salmon (he loved it - lots of bites) and bites of cauliflower.  No dinner roll or mangoes.  After Lunch he was playing by the gate when Lauralea came out and he started making noises to get her attention and then wave at her.  So cute and of course she was thrilled.  :) Miles has a spoon he carries with him all over the room every day this week.  I always think it's interesting when they find one special thing they like.  Anyhow he started moaning about something and he'd dropped his spoon in the legos drawer and couldn't reach it.  :)  "Hey! Can a feller get some help over here!! This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Miles was sitting on my lap and we were doing some selfies.  Little Cutie! Then in the second picture Callahan is playing with a truck and Miles is amused by Cal's silliness.  That too is very...

Miles ate two bites of whole wheat English muffin and several bites of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  He was very fussy this morning and he took an early nap from 8:30 - 9:30, but was still fussy when he awoke.  And sure enough he had 2 poops this morning before noon so that was good. I fed him prune/apple with cereal and whole milk.  Then at lunch he ate bites of peas, noodles, and applesauce.  Hamburger came right back out.  Dang texture.  :) This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and Avilene was playing with the two little boys.  Avi is so great with the little kids; gives them lots of attention and consequently they both really love and enjoy her. Next picture; First thing this morning - headed right for the igloo.  He loves that igloo and it's very cute.  I like the following picture; standing up and getting his head right inside the shelf!  Of course it's not easy getting your head in there without banging...

Miles ate two bites of whole wheat toast and ate his watermelon for breakfast.  After his morning nap I fed him sweet potatoes with cereal and the last of Mommy Milk.  He had several bites of paleo stew (cooked in a crock pot and super soft) and tasted the tropical fruit.  Nothing good about that stuff! Ha I think it's a texture thing with certain fruit. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and Miles was playing with the ball you see in the lower right corner.  As you can imagine he'd touch it, try to grab it or whatever, and away the ball would go!  Every time he'd reach out to grab it, away it would go another 10 feet.  He didn't' seem to care too much and it was very entertaining.  :) This next picture is also from yesterday afternoon.  Miles had just woke up from his nap and Avi was there to greet him.  Miles and Cal both seem to love all the attention they receive from the other children.  Last picture; Hey...

Miles ate grapes and two or three bites of waffle for breakfast.  I fed him prune/apple with cereal and 5 ounces of Mommy milk.  (He ate about half of that and I'll finish it after his nap.)  He ate several bites of chicken and baked cinnamon apples.  Nora likes it because I've giving Miles the same sippy cup that was her's.  :) First picture: I took this after Miles was done eating some waffle and grapes at breakfast.  Our sweet Coral girl is here with us for about 3 weeks and she has been getting acquainted with the kids.  I sent this to Mommy so they could see it in live mode.  I love his waving.  So cute.  Children don't usually wave "side-to-side" like he does.  Daddy Ryan is correct; Miles is very very advanced.  :)  And that's why you pay me the big bucks; for these professional insights!! More pictures from his morning.  He was content to stay in this same area for a long time this morning; playing with ...

Miles took a morning nap from 8:45 - 10:45.  He ate sweet potatoes, infant cereal, and 5 ounces of Mommy Milk.  (I'll give him the rest of it when he awakes from his second nap.)  At lunch he also had bites of ground turkey mixed with avocado, and bites of cherries. Atley noticed that Miles was sitting up.  And like always they will see something several times, but it never really clicks and then they see it!!  Atley said, "Hey! That's the first time he sit!!  (it wasn't) I said, "Yes, he's doing a great job."  Atley said, "He is doing lots of tricks like we do!" Haha.  Yes the little people have lots to learn and then they can be tricky just like everyone else. First picture: Callahan joined Miles at the fence which is the first place Miles played this morning.  Miles crawled all over the room and played with various toys in this toy exchange we did over the weekend.  As you can see in the second picture there was lots of stuff fo...

Miles had bites of oatmeal and several bites of baked cinnamon apples.  (He liked the apples.)  I fed him squash, with infant cereal and 4.5 ounces of Mommy Milk.  Miles was alone in the Play Room while everyone else was finishing up Lunch.  He was in the igloo just hanging out; laying on his back kicking his feet and looking around.  I know I've mentioned it frequently, but it's so cute how he likes the small places. Ok, Have I mentioned he likes the small/tight places!?!  First picture; here's an example of what I'm talking about.  I remember this Baby we had that loved to crawl in tight places.  One of his favorite spots was to crawl between my legs and the couch when I was sitting at the couch.  And he'd shove hard to get through there!!  Typical boy; just shove harder!!  :). HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILES!!  And congrats to everyone!!  I believe the Children's Birthday's are more of a Family Celebration!!  And ALL Mi...

Miles had a few bites of French toast for breakfast.  He drank about 1.5 ounces and I fed him apple/avocado with cereal and 4 ounces of milk.  He ALWAYS get real excited when he sees me coming with his bottle and then will drink a maximum of 1.5 ounces.  Ha!  He's probably just messing with me.  Haha. At breakfast this morning Atley asked Nora, "When is he gonna be 4 and go to swim lessons?"  Nora immediately said, "Oh, in a couple of weeks."  And she spoke with great authority.  Haha.  That answer apparently made total sense to Atley. Avilene loves the little people.  Here's a picture of her and Miles from yesterday afternoon when she was putting her cap on him.  Then in the second picture she is greeting him after arriving from swim lessons. Next picture;  Cal, Svea, Miles, and a lamb huddling up.  This was right after Miles woke from his morning nap.  I'm not sure what they're doing here, but I know there...

Miles was not interested in breakfast - whole wheat toast and mangoes.  He took a morning nap and when he woke up he drank 1.5 ounces.  I fed him sweet potatoes with Infant oatmeal and 4 ounces of Mommy Milk. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon outside.  Isn't this cute?!?  He's peeking under the climber to check out everything.  What do you see Miles!  Probably more bugs.  Yesterday I took away a dead spider he was about to sample for flavor.  :) Next picture: Miles was crawling across the room with some vegetable (from the food toys) in his mouth!  In the following picture he offered it to Cal, but was kind of surprised when Cal actually took it!!  That always makes me laugh; at that age they hold it out, but don't really want or expect you to take it. Last picture: Miles was playing at this gate again; he's in this vicinity every day!  Look at him grinning.  He noticed I was watching him and ...

Miles ate several bites of grapes for breakfast and nibbled on a blueberry bagel for breakfast.  He drank one ounce of Mommy's milk, and ate prune/apple with Infant cereal and 4.5 ounces of Mommy's milk.  I will feed him the remainder of that after he wakes up from his nap. I took these first two pictures shortly after his arrival this morning.  I always love watching how Cal communicates with him.  Callahan loves him!!  In the second picture Cal handed Miles a legos and said, "welcome."  Haha.  That was super cute. Next picture:  I love how Miles is experimenting a litte more just about every day!!  In this picture he is pushing and scooting a little toy under the gate on the hardwood floor.  Last picture: Svea and Callahan were hanging off the edge of the blue balance beam to see what Miles was up to.  This did NOT end in disaster in case anyone was wondering about them hanging off the edge!  Cal got a little over-cen...

Miles took a morning nap and when he awoke he drank 1 ounce and then I fed him pear/pineapple with Infant oatmeal cereal and 4.5 ounces of Mommy milk. Svea climbed up to watch me change a diaper for Miles and as usual he started touching himself.  Svea was adamant; "Don't touch it! Don't touch it! Don't touch!"  :)  I actually managed NOT to laugh aloud. First picture: This was SO cute!!  Atley and Nora went to the window to wave at Momma Emily the "first" time she drove by.  (She made a milk run!)  Callahan took off running to wave as well, but stopped almost before he got started and tried to get Miles to go with him!!  So cute.  Callahan does a similar thing whenever Lauralea goes to the Daycare Room to say "hi" to the kids.  Cal always points at Miles and says, "Mau Mau" and wants her to say "hi" to Miles as well.  So cute!!  Second picture: Miles was playing at the legos table and Cal joined him; except Cal came in ...

I fed Miles bites of waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  At 10:30 he drank one ounce of milk and at lunch he ate squash, infant cereal, and 3 ounces of milk. These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  Both boys had just woken from their naps and still had on their sleep pajamas.  Callahan went to the top shelf again to hang out.  I think it's so funny when they find a place they really like and they go back to it over and over.  Cal still had his pacifier in his mouth and that's the main attraction here!!  :)  Second picture: Callahan was pushing the dump trucks up and down the sidewalk and I was teaching him to steer around obstacles; primarily Miles!!  Cal is in the very early stages of learning that skill I might add!  :) Next picture; ok, did I just mention something about going back to the same spot every day!?!  I put Miles on the floor first thing this morning and he immediately went trucking righ...

Hey!!  Hoorah!!  A Blog for Miles.  Haha. I usually start with what the children ate in the morning and I have not totally transitioned Miles to the Daycare menu yet, so this morning he drank an ounce of milk, ate Avocado, Apple, Infant Cereal, and the other 4.5 ounces of milk.  That was a lot of food and I'll feed him the rest when he awakes from his nap. As of today I'm now doing 6 Blogs so the times the Blogs get posted may change a bit.  Again, it will usually be between 12:30 and 2:30.  So Grandparents in far away places may need to be patient.  :) This first picture was taken yesterday afternoon.  Callahan LOVES it when Miles wakes up from his nap and this was the greeting.  I love how sober Miles can be.  He will be a great Poker Player some day.  Haha.  Also, this area around the step and the gates has become a favorite place for Miles to hang out.  I'm assuming it's because there is a lot of activity of Presc...
