Miles ate French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of Hearty Paleo Stew with meat, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potatoes, green beans, tomatoes, and carrots. He ate saltines and ate tropical fruit.   Cal's Grandma dropped him off today. When Tutu drove by the window I asked Miles if he wanted to wave at Tutu and Miles said, "Bubba." Haha. That was cute. And Bubba was in her car too.  First picture: Yup, you guessed it! Miles located the morning moon again. Yelling and pointing to make sure I could see it too. Thank you Miles. :) Following picture: Lauralea goes into her office 1 day a week now - on Wednesdays and she was giving the boys a goodbye love. Cal had been sorrowful because his Tutu dropped him off and this love from Lauralea kind of got him over the hump. Thank you Lauralea.  Here are a couple pictures from outside this morning. You'll see this same picture in Nora's Blog except without Miles. Haha. Th...

Miles ate half of his waffle serving and two servings of grapes for breakfast. He was very tired by lunch and had a couple bites before he was DONE:  chicken, whole wheat tortillas, corn, and baked cinnamon apples. He just laid his head on the high chair tray; similar to the first picture!! :) The first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon. He was playing with the lid that has a mirror in it. When I turned around this is what I saw; Miles getting up close and personal with himself. :) Following picture; Atley was reading to Miles while they were sitting on the blue balance beam. Miles, of course, kept trying to turn pages as you can see. Another note about Miles and Atley: He was swatting at Atley and I said, "Be gentle; no hitting." Atley said, "Oh he can hit me if he wants." Well I'm sure your intentions are good Atley. but NO he can't hit anyone, including you, at Little Treasures. :)  I took this next picture before we went outside this mo...

Miles ate kix cereal and two large servings of fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground turkey mixed with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thins, tomatoes, and ate black-raspberries.   Miles ran to the window to wave bye at Momma and immediately started pointing, squealing, and squawking looking toward the sky. He'd spotted the moon and it was big - probably at least 3/4. A few minutes later he was back at the window and it was the same level of excitement and squealing. This time it was a tiny minuscule fly on the outside of the window. Haha.  First picture: Miles spotted a truck the workers were using next door and he was saying, "Hi hi hi hi" in this soft voice. Haha. Following picture: Face first on the mattress. This could mean lots of things right!?! Here's what it means this time: I was on the couch and he'd make a sound and I'd mimic the sound. Then he'd run to the mattress and flop face-first laughing and giggling. Over and o...

Miles ate oatmeal and half of his baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch he ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, green beans, and potatoes. He ate fruit cocktail and ate his whole wheat dinner roll.    Miles tried to say Lauralea's name this morning: and Lauralea was thrilled!! :) It came out "Ar-ley" and that was pretty stinking cute. Then he buckled himself into his highchair and said something that sounded like; "buckle." Came out "buck." Those "uck" words always make me nervous!! Haha. Just so you know; "They didn't learn it here!!" Haha. First two pictures of Miles doing what Miles does best; scouring the floor for the most minuscule things he can find. Then he presents them to me like there are the best trophy ever!! Thank you Miles!! His attention to detail is pretty noticeable already and this is just one example.  Lauralea thinks this picture looks a lot like Nora! He was sitting o...

Miles ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, half of peas, and ate strawberries.  First picture: I was on the couch and Miles and Callahan kept trying to squeeze in behind me and I was "pinning" them to the back of the couch or sitting on them. Ha. You can see my forehead in the lower right of the picture and I was using my head to pin Miles and kept telling him he was "stuck!!"  Next picture: Miles was fetching all the jingle bell shaker toys and depositing them in front of Cal. So of course our musical Cal promptly started singing "Jingle Bells" right on tune. :) Sounding good Cal! Miles sings on-tune as well! I can hear "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" every time he sings it. Following picture: Miles was on the phone saying, "Mom Mom Mom." I got the camera and at the same time he spotted an airplane. So cute. "Hey look Mom! An airplane!" Here's the story behind this...

Miles ate whole wheat toast and two servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch he ate ground beef mixed with marinara sauce on top of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate half of his cauliflower, and ate fruit salad. First picture: Miles is trying hard to get the legos trailer to hook onto the legos tractor. I've showed him how to do it, but it's not the easiest thing for the little ones to do. You have to push together firmly before it "snaps" into place. But I like to see them trying before yelling for help.  Next picture: Miles doing some Art work again. Those are Nora's hands on his highchair as she wants to see what he's drawing. Nora said it was a "treasure map." :) Again I'm impressed with how he makes all the small deliberate marks. So interesting. Next picture: The boys were having fun being silly playing, jumping, and rolling on the mattress. I'm working at having Miles say words instead of constant loud squealing. When he's hap...

Miles ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch he ate shrimp, brown rice (covered in juice from the blackberries), ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries. ALL the kids are eating their rice covered with berry juice now. :) July is quickly approaching and I want to remind everyone that Little Treasures will be closed the week of July 5 - 9.  Miles was at the window waving bye to Daddy this morning. Then he turned around and sprinted across the room to the couch. Stopped, quickly turned around and started waving again. Haha. Goofy kid. He makes me laugh. So here's a picture left over from yesterday afternoon when Miles was finding roly-poly bugs on the patio. Look how his little finger and ring finger are "attached." Haha. Next picture: These two boys are going through a stage where they're yelling at each other about everything and I mean everything ! Even a spot on the window!!  Goofy guys! They were yelling at each other when I took th...

Miles ate bran cereal and ate raisins for breakfast. For lunch he ate chicken, bites of toasted whole wheat pita bread,  ate avocado mixed with his chicken, ate cucumbers, and ate pears. When I was changing Miles this morning he was doing his usual "hi, hi, hi" over and over and waving. So I started saying, "Bye, bye, bye" every time he said, "Hi." That made him laugh every time as well. Even after the first 62 times. :) Later in the morning when I was changing him again I started it with saying, "Bye." And he laughed and said, "Hi." :) We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and in the first picture you can see the boys are playing with the tractors, barns, and farm animals. Second picture: Monday mornings are the best for a good snuggle after the weekend and Miles is such a snuggle bug!! I love it.  Next picture: Initially Miles was laying on the blue balance beam using a stuffed animal for a pillow. It was so cute. By th...

Miles ate cream of wheat cereal and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch he ate most of chicken, bites of brown rice, bites of broccoli, and ate pineapple.  This first picture of the boys is left over from yesterday afternoon when they were playing on the blue balance beam and on the mattress. They were holding hands and initially made it look like they were gonna jump together. That's not gonna happen for awhile and maybe never. Ha. Have you ever seen synchronized jumping, swimming, etc?!?! This was  nothing  like that!! Haha. Miles was focused on their hands and Cal was focused on jumping. Next picture; Doing a selfie with Gary. Little cutie. Following picture; Playing with toys this morning. Miles is hoarding 4 phones and has a music player tucked under his leg. Silly kids sure know how to push each other's buttons and these two play like siblings now. Next picture; Miles asked for the balls after we got outside and he was playing with several of them. Then he was gonn...

Miles ate blueberry waffle and ate fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch he ate a few bites of ground turkey, a few bites of whole wheat tortillas, a few bites of sweet potatoes, and ate cherries.    Yesterday I texted Emily and Ryan the picture of Nora hiding around the corner; same picture I put on her Blog. The purpose was for you to see it in "Live Mode" which I thought was hilarious. And so does Miles! Haha. He laughs hard every time I show it to him. :) First picture: I was sitting on the "bump" of the couch and Cal came over and shoved his head in beside me. Miles of course came too! Ha. This was just the beginning of some major jostling following by yelling!! Goofy boys.  Two pictures watching a crow this morning. Maybe it's the same bird and he's our pet. The crow didn't act nervous when we were outside; only when Miles started yelling and squealing at it. Ha.  Next picture: Here's Miles getting into position for a major belly flop. Haha. Cra...

Miles ate two servings of French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch he ate Whole 30 Chili with meat, peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, tomato sauce, and spices. He ate one bite of whole wheat dinner roll, and ate topical fruit - mangoes and pineapple.  First picture; We were playing on the couch and Miles was determined to crawl behind me so I got a selfie of him doing just that AND getting squished! You can see he's not too distressed. He actually likes the tight spots.  First picture; Nora spotted "Lu Lu" on the shelf and so Lu Lu was talking to the kids. Too bad you don't get to hear Lu Lu sing in her high-pitched voice. :) It's quite alarming, but that is for Children audiences only. We don't want to frighten the adults. Following picture; The boys were initially "hiding" from each other and then they started knocking on the wall and peeking around the corner. They found it to be hilarious and were laughing hard; esp...
